Legislative Committee Chairs:

Will chair the joint House/Senate committees throughout the conference.

Qualifications:

• Red & White: in the 7^th or 8^th grade
• Blue: in the 6th grade or 1st year 7th grade
• Knowledge of parliamentary procedure
• Strong public speaking skills
• Recognized leadership ability
• Good citizenship and servant leadership skills
• Professional appearance, dress, poise
• Must have attended at least 1 YIG conference (White and Red)

Political Compromise Chairs:

Will chair the Political Compromise committees and Interest Groups throughout the conference.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of parliamentary procedure
• Strong public speaking skills
• Recognized leadership ability
• Good citizenship and servant leadership skills
• Professional appearance, dress, poise
• Must have participated at least 1 year in the Political Compromise program.

Inspirational Leaders: 

Will be responsible for an opening devotion or inspirational presentation at the beginning of each House or Senate session as well as either the invocation or benediction at one of the general assemblies. They can read quotes, scriptures, pray or simply give an inspirational message. Religious or non-religious students welcome to apply.

• Red & White: in the 7^th or 8^th grade
• Blue: in the 6th grade or first year 7th grader
• Willing and able to speak in public
• Strong public speaking skills
• Good citizenship 
• Professional appearance, dress, poise

Senate, House, Committee & Political Compromise Clerks: 

Will take attendance, be responsible for all written amendments, keep track of current business.

Qualifications

• Red & White: in the 7^th or 8^th grade
• Blue: in the 6th grade or first year 7th grader
• Political Compromise: must choose the PC program area
• Notetaking skills and experience with using technology
• Recognized servant leadership skills
• Good citizenship 
• Professional appearance, dress, poise
