We urge you to join us in sponsoring a unique, nationally recognized educational program, whose mission it is to show the young people of Michigan the joys of public service first hand. Our goal is that each student receive a 50% scholarship. This allows us to make the program accessible to all students regardless of their financial status. We greatly appreciate your investment in a program that instills the qualities of leadership, loyalty, character and service in our students.
The Youth in Government program is a very rewarding educational experience, which generates a greater understanding of government and leadership skills. We are particularly encouraged that the program has evoked the enthusiasm and interest of many young people to consider a future career of public service and civic engagement.
