Volunteers, participants, and alumni are dedicated to Youth in Government and stay involved throughout their lives. When your name appears as a contributor to this program you are demonstrating your support for something that holds a unique position in the hearts of the Michigan public.
- Sponsors are invited yearly to attend any of the 3 legislative breakfasts held at the Capitol in Lansing. Student leaders are also in attendance.
- Attendance at any of the state conferences is encouraged in order to see how you are contributing to the success of teen leaders.
- The Youth Legislature Bill Book, with your name, is distributed to over 2000 teens, volunteers and supporters each year.
- Each quarter you will receive the YIG newsletter. This communication goes to all sponsors, schools, and volunteers.
- MYIG website. The website is updated to include current program information as well as a current list of sponsors.
