Alumni are key to the success of all YMCA MYIG conferences. Alumni advise committees, mentor students, assist in conference affairs, and are present in every facet of programming from the legislature to the National Issues Forum. Alumni also help develop new programming as well as fine-tune existing programs. Volunteering is not only fun, but develops professional skills in organization, public relations, networking, leadership, and team work. While working at the conference, volunteers will have their food and hotel room covered by the program.
